In this exploratory and exciting workshop we will learn the art and mechanics of making dynamic "Gel Skins" for use in collage and to enhance mixed media painting skills. We will also explore a variety of methods in which to transfer an image directly into a variety of substrates. All Golden gels, mediums and paints will be supplied along with a variety or wet and dry sample in which to create with. This class is heavy on process to help the participant become familiar and comfortable with the actual creation of Gel Skins and Image Transfer techniques. Suitable for all skill levels. Participants will need to bring the following. A palette knife and brush or two, a roll of paper towels, a small container for water and whatever the artists preferred drawing material might be. These can include watercolor pencils, colored pencils, oil sticks, crayons, etc. (Not to worry, there is ZERO drawing talent required.
