Please Note: Times for Sunday 10/7 are from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM This workshop includes elements of the 'Seductive Surfaces for Painting & Collage,' 'Gel Skins & Image Transfer for Painting & Collage," and 'You Can't Really Swing If You Ain't Got That Bling' workshops. If you've never taken this workshop in the past it is an excellent primer on the widest range of acrylic options for use in your art making endeavors, including surfaces as diverse as Heavy Gel Matte, Soft Gel Gloss, Crackle Paste, Simulated Beeswax like coatings, Gels Skins, Images directly transferred into substrates and too many more to list. If you have taken this workshop in the past it may prove an excellent opportunity for a leisurely exploration of techniques that we were only able to touch upon the last time it was presented. As always and within the ever changing realm of art making and creativity we will also explore a few new tricks and techniques. Bring your questions, bring art you are currently working on and we'll endeavor to answer and complete some of those pieces while increasing your knowledge base. As always attendees should bring a paint brush or two, a small palette knife or two, some paper towels, a small container for water and whatever your preferred drawing medium might be. These drawing mediums can be any of the following: crayons, oil pastels, colored pencils, watercolor pencils, although NO drawing skills will be required for participation in the workshop. The only thing required is an open mind and a willingness to explore and have fun. I hope to see you there. Attendees may wish to bring a bag lunch and something to drink as we will break for lunch at some point during the day.
